Great interview, may all people be as open to intelligent dialogue as these two in the video. Props to NBC for keeping a neutral bias. I'd love to see Jon's work in the future to see how far he'll go with this tech

I think we should be careful about teaching AI art…eventually it will be good at everything and then what will we do? Why are people so blindly excited about ai doing everything?

AI needs more people like Jon headlining it instead of the silicon valley tech bro perpetually online weirdos usually associated with it. He genuinely seems to care about the implications of the tech while deftly showing a path forward with contagious enthusiasm and empathy.
We are in for an interesting decade. I suspect that a vast majority of people are severely underestimating the coming changes to virtually every aspect of life and society.
Oh like taking away human jobs is just such a great thing … People will co-sign just about anything as long as it's being told to them with a smile and /or excitement
The perfect venue for #AI IS movies; tv shows and entertainment. The worst place is in advertising, news, documentaries, or infomercials.
