It’s great you’re interested in doing some important work for Victoria with the Department of Justice and Community Safety.
For the department’s frontline roles, you’ll need to be at a certain standard of physical wellbeing to carry out the duties of the job confidently and safely. That’s why passing a health and fitness assessment is an essential step in securing one of these roles.
In this video, we run you through the exercises and tests you will need to pass first to be able to begin a frontline job with the department. Speak with your GP if you’re unsure of your capabilities, and don’t put yourself at risk. Once you’re confident you can hit the benchmarks, we’d love to receive your application. We hope to see you around soon!
