So I'm seeing alot of posts on here, making excuses for the parents not being involved in thier kids lives….and saying this was totally on the teachers to be in charge….Can everyone get it straight for once? Texas, Florida, many ither states are banning books and telling teachers "let the parents be in charge of what thier kids learn and how"…but NOW you want to blame the teachers? Where were the "concerned parents". Cant have it both ways people!🤦♀️
Mismanagement? I hope you’re referring to your failure to manage your schoolwork. The mom could have helped, but you’re 17 or 18 for crying out loud. How long will you require another person to manage your life?

high school is a waste of time
Sorry parents, but you need to take full responsibility for your children.
It’s 50/50 like this is a big example on why we need to invest on high school support staff because my school did so and this was a non existent problem . Like why did they not have a management team of administrators along with teachers tacking this. Also the parents why were they not informed at all or expected to partake it there kids education. Very sloppy plus there was only 37 kids my school had over 180 and did this well
How do the school let you miss out???? Now stop hold the child and parents responsible.
When you go to a real school, where the parents, teacher, counselors, principal, board and district are doing their jobs, that does not happen. No wonder there are so many mass shooting and deliquency.
You do your work to graduate. Please do not pity them.
