Snow tires go a long way to be able to drive in the snow, don't have them stay put. Drifts account for the depth of snow in many areas. Where I live we are encouraged to have studded tires in the winter, from what I saw on this video it would be business as usual.

I'm highly surprised GMA actually talked about the Sierras Nevada snowstorms. This storm brought up to 12 FEET in the highest elevations with some gusts hitting 145+ MPH!
Usually, GMA completely disregards these storms, giving the false impression to some guests who think everything is just fine. WRONG!
