"alleged rape" Why do articles/videos continue to do this…? I understand not wanting to accuse someone, who may be innocent (ethics, liability), but "THIS" isn't about that.
There is nothing "alleged" about the rape. The 10 year old girl was raped. There could (in other cases) be some question about who committed the rape, but there is NO QUESTION about whether the rape occurred or not.
So you talk about the person as "the suspect", or the "alleged rapist", or this person is "alleged to have raped" so-and-so.
But, to say "alleged rape", is to call into question, or invite such a question, as to whether the rape occurred or not.
Then, of course, in this case, since he has already confessed and plead guilty, can't you ethically refer to him as "The confessed rapist"?
Joke's on you. You support the victim and rapist and pay for his legal fees.
No, murder is not a constitutional right or a human right. The moment you are actively seeking the destruction of an innocent human being, for any reason, your personal rights are no longer protected. A child in the womb is about as innocent as it gets.
