  4. I think it is interesting to see the way micro uses such smaller words when talking to a panel I've left Hope Center interviewers then when he talks to one right-of-center interviewer IES Ben Shapiro! Fast forward seven months from this interview and the Ben Shapiro Sunday special, I never knew micro was so articulate and so well-spoken! Holy cow!

  5. Chuck Todd is a weasel but Mike Rowe is a classic stand up guy.

  6. These were the conversations everyone should have had the morning after the Election.

  8. I feel like Mike Rowe isn't heard enough. He's spoken to Congress several times yet nothing has changed.

  9. That's because we choose to work for a living. No free handouts needed

  10. The panelists sitting around this propaganda program spouting off their opinions about what it means to work hard gag me, None of them have ever dug a hole or done any kind of hard work unless you think lifting up some paper on a shiny desk is sweat-inducing.

  11. Mike Rowe is an all American guy! thanks Mike you are an inspiration.

  12. He needs to be Sec. Of education and first task would be to get vo-tech back in high school 🙂

  13. I think America is like huge 747 outta control ! with government , and politics , with many diverse Other Government Agencies , that screw up the system mainly , health care , then, politicians helping themselves to all kinds of money , from DMV ,IRS ,PUBLIC UTILITIES , WATER REGULATORY SERVICES and so forth , I've seen freeways being fixed for years and never get finished , who took a chunk? I think MIKE ROW would be a good CAPTAIN for this MAYDAY in AMERICA , !!!!! Period.!!!!!

  16. Before retirement, I was a maintenance technician in a plane where automation was slowly taking over the available jobs. I used to constantly hear from fellow employees about how unfair it was to lose out to a machine, and my answer was always the same; the machines can't program themselves, and they can't fix themselves (yet). Humans are needed for that task. Many always had the same answer; "I don't know how to do that stuff." My answer never wavered; "Neither did I, but I learned how to."

  17. I wish Mike Rowe would run for president. Talk about a dirty job that someone needs to do correctly.

  18. There are problems with college, however Rowe does not work in the trades. My family members worked in the trades and they have no savings, after corporate greed destroyed unions, they lost their medical benefits and pensions, and have been dealt with constant lay offs. Moreover, my grandfather was literally killed by his job, died of cancer because of the glue that he was using to make products was toxic, but after all those years my grandfather devoted to his trade, the company gave nothing to my grandma and claimed no liability.

  19. Yeah lights are on at the end of the day but I need too run around and find you to know where I can plug my compressor in so it will work

  20. Mike makes a lot of sense no matter what your political ideology, and he does so in the most articulate yet affable way. Imagine what we could achieve if all politicians, legislators and policy makers were like him.

  21. Automation will simply create a brand new market for hand-crafted and man-made products that are highly customized and unique – from cars and computers, to kitchen utensils. Because as good as automation is, it will still make streamlined, standardized products on a production line. That's perfectly fine, but there will always be a market for stuff that isn't standard and streamlined.

  22. "What did Huxley say…" THAT'S WHAT WE NEED TO ASK! And Orwell, and Bradbury, and so many others.
