Truckers need diesel fuel and paying 5.70 a gallon drives up the prices of everything. It cost truckers more to deliver the goods and stores have to raise their prices of goods. Then they sell the goods back to the consumer for more money. The right way of doing this would converting trucks over to electric first before raising the prices of diesel.
