New efforts underway to protect dwindling monarch butterfly population



The iconic monarch butterfly faces uncertainty after a concerning new report found that the number of butterflies wintering in Mexico dropped by 22% this year. NBC’s Ellison Barber reports on why activists and environmentalists are not losing hope on the species yet.
