Even while people can't afford gas, North Carolina Republicans are introducing House Bill 1049 targeting free EV charging stations in that state. Look at the party affiliation of most oil company execs and which party that the vast majority of their lobbying money goes. That's the party you vote against.
My Take is many Corporations and related Huge Conglomerates are networking with the GOP-Faux News nexus for more reasons to Blame everything on Biden and the Democrats … as a political strategy … for their ongoing tax cuts at the top. … IMO: Looks like age old Divide and Conquer Tactics !!! The big power players have too much Monopoly Power. I think we need to apply antitrust ideas to bust monopolies up for a return to competition on even playing fields.
