My generation does not get pensions anymore so I never will have a date I can look forward to where I can say I'm done working. Most companies stopped giving pensions 10+ years ago, it's going to be a disaster.

At least my wife and I, our retirement dream will still be on schedule, we'll be out of the country living a much better and simpler life and still be able to enjoy.

This semi-retired MBA CEO (check out his LinkedIn) is whining because he can't retire at 62 (or possibly even 67 … on social security, no less? really?) and because his million dollar portfolio is temporarily down a few thousand bucks. They make it sound like he's barely scraping by on a "side gig" teaching computers, when in fact he was clearly hired in a general manager role to start a new branch for a kids coding camp company (which I suspect was the real reason he agreed to the interview, to boost his presence). I'm playing the world's smallest violin for this joker … is that really the best NBC News can do?

Sorry for about 80% of these people they lived in homes they could not afford, they took our loans on their homes equity to buy glitzy bathrooms kitchens, they drove SUVs $60K or more to show off, went on massive vacations. Then now the sad stories. That's what happen when you don't plan for 30 years down the road. For the other 20% I get it, and I feel for them.
