Every year the island of Bali spills tens of thousands of tons of plastic garbage into its once-pristine waters. Through activism and a government mandated plastic ban, the island’s residents are fighting this growing pollution plight.

  1. Buy metal straws! Take your own bags and drink containers to stores.

  2. If you're looking for reusable straws … Donald Trump sells them on his website. Which is a lot more than what most Democrat candidates are doing to combat the plastic problem.

  3. It's great that the Bali citizens are attempting to fight plastic pollution, but it would be better if they decreased their use of plastics as a whole.  According to many articles, Indonesia is the second worst plastic offender, trailing China.  Not saying the US is innocent of this travesty either; just putting things in perspective.

  4. One time use plastics will make us extinct
