Help me out here, but does holding the director of the FBI have any consequence other than a stain on one's record?
Give me a break. And in terms of financial reprisals and defunding the FBI, The American People should not have to pull the shoe strings of funding to simply declare that the FBI is no longer redeemable. Simply eliminate the institution by dictate or a vote in the Congress ASAP and replace it with new, idealistic patriots and go from there. Anyone who used to work for the FBI need not apply. Also, aren't there prison sentences for government officials who corruptly abuse their power?
In any case, never forget that the health of our republic is far more important than a DC rat's job security.
