  1. William explained it so well that anyone can feel how going to space is.

  2. I hope WS took a picture to gift the flat-earthers! ๐Ÿ˜

  3. Soak it in soak in we haven't seen nothing yet ๐Ÿ˜

  4. In another interview Shatner said the Earth is flat

  5. The respect and admiration Jeff Bezzos has for the old man is touching.

  6. So not just an actor, but a poet/writer as well. We need more of those in show biz.

I half expected him to be acting and be impressed but not that impressed. That a guy with that much life experience was still moved says a lot about the experience. Of course, it is literally – out of body, since the body outside of ours is our planet and atmosphere.

  7. How many people could have been feed and housed for this giant waste of money and resources.
    Disgraceful

For the first time in my life I have some respect for Bezos. He wanted to get to the others, he was impatient. But as he was listening to Shatner he became aware that this was something profound, and took off his glasses and started listening. Then he said "That's beautiful", and at the end gave Shatner a hug. He's a human, not a lizard. I wasn't sure .. ๐Ÿ™‚

I have disliked Bezos, but it was him that accidentally caused this to happen, and I hope everyone hears Shatners speech. If we could bottle what he's feeling and give it to everyone, there would be no more problems. God damm, I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but ..

3 cheers for Jeff Bezos!! And of course,

3 cheers for William Shatner!! ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚

  9. I think Bill was high as a kite!
    Chk out Shatner doing RocketManโ€ฆ.lol.

  10. That is the most down to Earth I have ever seen William Shatner

  11. Well now that you have had this experience captain ๐Ÿ‘จโ€โœˆ๏ธ, maybe you should make it your mission to dedicate the rest of your life to save this planet and fight for climate change and ensure future generations can have the same experiencesโ€ฆ just saying

  12. He dosed before he went up.

  13. Captain Kirk has been to space, well done, well done!

  14. "They use to say if a man could wing, he'd have flies" – Silliam Whatner

  15. Bezos has no understanding of personal space.

  16. Thanks Bill, and looking forward to your interview tomorrow. I've always been interested in stars, the universe, etc. And I have wondered what it would be like to see all of those stars and view the sun as just another star that we happen to be real close to. But now I'm trying to put myself in a perspective that sees that little sliver of Earth's atmosphere that harbors life.. amongst that enormous multitude of stars. And even more so, that little sliver of Earth's atmosphere that harbors the generosity of mankind.

  17. Is the chick in black the one that bezos is dating?

  18. who would have thunk "Admiral Kirk" actually in Space. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  19. Bezo and his bimbo girlfriend totally spoiled Shatners experience.
    Complete duche bags

  20. A reminder to all of us: Capt. James T. Kirk is a fictional character whose experiences and words were created by others. William Shatner is a real flesh and blood human being whose experience today was his own.

  21. I would like to personally thank the person running the camera for taking that fake breasted, glory seeking bee-otch out of the shot.

  22. Shatner looks and sounds great for 90.

  23. This is nothing but an amusement park ride for the wealthy. Don't understand the reaction. 60 yrs. ago Alan Shepard went 300 miles up in a tin can. And landed in the ocean 15 min. later.
That was something new for the U.S. That was worthy of a celebratory reaction.
Not this. And the media gushes over this like Bezos and Shatner. discovered the cure for cancer. Pathetic.

  24. Capt is off his rocker

  25. Fox News showed some amazing video from inside the capsule during the flight. Typical Republican space cadets.

  26. I'm glad William Shatner made it to space. His emotion is genuine, you can tell. His description of the experience is amazing. When he talks about how thin the Earth's atmosphere is, is quite frankly profound. I could have listened to him for ages. If it wasn't for Star Trek, the original series that is, I'm sure I wouldn't have been an amateur astronomer. I would have loved Carl Sagan to have been able to do this trip into space. Its strange to think that in the not too distant future, these journeys will be so common, they won't even make the news.

  27. Just currious, is Shatner officially the first Canadian civilian in space , in history?

  28. This is so beautiful, thank you so much Mr. Shatner and Mr. Besos. I can't wait to experience the fragile nature of our home

  29. Dude took some shrooms before he lifted off huh? lol

  30. Iโ€™m pretty sure William Shatner just experienced ego death

  31. And people think it was a accident that the planet was made…

  32. I love Bill Shatner. God bless him.

  33. Good job maybe rich people might start thinking clearer about the world and the rest if us

  34. That was beautiful. Shatner is one of the great translators–speaker and writer–of our time.

  35. Mr. Spock would have loved to go with.

  36. I'd like to remind everyone — this is a ninety year old man. Most of us won't be alive or will be confined to a bed at ninety. Respect!

  37. U just want the people around him to shut up

  38. Thank you Mr Shatner Capt Kirk for saying it in the least technical way of what you saw and experienced. It's not even a fraction of God's creation. We are just passing time. Do our best to make everyone happy. Please lead the world leaders to be change their ways.

  39. He gave an accurate description on how thin the atmosphere is. If the world is represented by a basketball…the atmosphere thickness would be as thin as a sheet of paper on the basketball. Pretty thin…

  40. So cool! Captain Kirk gets to really "boldly go where no one has gone before." ๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––

  41. //; I wish he had his "STAR TREK" costume on when he went up

  42. Keep going up and ruining our ozone what's left of it.
