Being smart is useless unless you can also get things done and get things done in a massively hostile environment such as DC and the entrenched bureaucracy. Trump got it Done by fighting his way uphill all the way (his only option) as any effort to work with the entrenched Democrat supporting bureaucrats was impossible. De Santis may find it a lot harder to accomplish anything at the federal level than in his home state. This assumes he can get elected in an election heavily mired in media bias, censorship, cover-ups, and fraudulent schemes (all denied).

The best path forward for our country and the entire world is to have a Trump DeSantis ticket in the 2024 election! Trump can finish out his 2nd term and then DeSantis can run for president the next 2 terms. That would ensure the White House will be kept Republican for the next 12 years and some positive real work that will make America great again can get done! I've lived in Florida for 27+ years and I'm 33 years old currently. This is the first governor I've ever seen do what he says. He let the people decide what they wanted. True democracy prevailed in Florida. We came out shining compared to the rest of the country. Our small businesses survived and thrived. Our restaurants and tourism exploded with activity. Housing market skyrocketed. People from all over the place came to live freely in Florida. Sucks for us locals because the traffic is a nightmare and rent prices have doubled if not tripled. All due to the sheer amount of business brought to Florida. I hope he runs for President but I secretly want him to stay right here in Florida for another 4 years.
