In the Midwest, senior citizen (especially) homeowners are bombarded with phone calls from India and Pakistan claiming to represent domestic realtors.
Apartment buildings for no-income housing are sprouting up like mushrooms because "suburbs are racist".
This seems very familiar. .🤔😒…oh I remember just like 2006 to 2008!….they did exactly the same thing
Investors had been buying condos, townhouses and homes for lower income people for years. But now that they're buying single family homes, it's an outrage.
When your boss tells you there going to give you a 20¢ per hour raise you need to give your notice and walk away from that place if you work 40 hours per week and they only give you 20¢ raise that's only $8.00 a week that's less than you will pay for lunch once so it's actually the boss saying they don't want you working for them but if you're so stupid they can get you to work for no raise then they will keep you
An interesting proposal to increase the housing supply is to tax residential land based on its value were the maximum number of residential units permitted actually built. That would provide an incentive to construct more residential units instead of keeping it bare land.
As long as real estate is seen as an "investment" the housing situation will never be solved. It's another cog in the wheel of making money. The only hope you have is to save and wait for the bubble to burst again and then vote to have wherever you bought the house to be rezoned for multifamily, only then can we solve the housing problem
Not good. Seniors. Working folks. People starting out. These REITs and foreign buyers are putting people on the streets. Need local real estate agents and communities to come up with a two-tiered system were individual families get first crack at listings. Large Investor property firms should pay much higher property tax rates as well for single family homes. By the way, Biden's open border policy is part of this major problem. We have supply and demand issues and those millions of illegals coming across are not helping.
Biden will give subsidies to these corporations to give out houses to immigrants for which the tax-payer will also pay their rent. I BET you!
You will own nothing and be happy, WEF Plan
Ciao
Fannie Mae and Freddie should be held accountable being that originally these were created to help families not investors
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered."
– Thomas Jefferson
Vangaurd & Blackrock. Economic terrorists. Know your enemy.
This is the freedom that is so precious in America. This does not mean the freedom of the citizens, who have never been free and have been less and less for decades. No, we want the freedom of corporations and the super-rich. And this is another step in this direction.
It's a burn! Too much for rent, house, property.
Market value scam.
This isn’t fair to the investors who do good work this statement isn’t accurate Foh
Doesn't matter how high investors drive housing prices, a family in the end has to buy it, or the investors can watch it rot. Now if investors sell to investors, that goes on for a while, but in the end, the house is vandalized or someone lives in it.
Why not regulate debt? Wealthy and billionaires should not be allowed to touch any such thing as a loan. They are to pay cash for everything and banks should give them total amount due immediately and collect aggressively and deny them new loans.
I watched this happen selling my house
This would be easy to fix. Make it illegal to own more then 10 houses.
Govt need to stop investors by penalizing them for every extra home they have…
MDMSSB wish everyone Happy New Year 2022.Lets work otogether to overcome the covid-19 trauma asap. Latest news sharing. J
"We support human Work life balance"
That maybe Disheartening but Pope Francis made that enormous Cigarette Deal with The Natives in Canada is so positive you should have seen The Crowds that Showed up at Commenwealth Stadium in Edmonton to buy at wholesale prices of cartons of cigarettes
Just think, we all this all to Joe !!!
I know! The government should lower the standards for mortgage approval so more Americans can have the American dream… oh wait…
Greed sucks period
In Gwinnett County Georgia democrats love destroying and cutting down trees ant its mountains thatcreat the Air cleaning process for the air. But create homes in hundreds given to peaplle who can't pay for new homes. Talk about DESTRUCTION OF A PLANET EARTH
These investors are Skumbags!
Thank you for bringing this up…..It’s time for the government to do something about this housing crisis!🔥
R.E.I.T.
Real Estate Investment Trust.
This explains A Lot about how real estate supply/demand Crushed potential home buyers.
If the government is lending money to corporations to purchase single family homes there will be conditions attached. The government and corporations are working together to buy up these homes to place low income tenants in them. Making it is more difficult for first time homebuyers. "You will own nothing and be happy." This is only the beginning.
Investors ?
DNC Commies Party is destroying America and Americans values. Are you going to die on your knees or on your feet ? Fight back America 🇺🇸:)🧐🇺🇸👍🙏🤟🏼😎🪂💰🤠
So you can justify an agent fee of $20k yet the “underwriting” cost of $3-5k isn’t enough to motive the banks to process the loan. Lol. Leap.
Foreign companies are buying up American land and homes
The plan is large buildings … apartment complex with amenities such as grocery markets and cafes as well as other retail shops
You won't have to go anywhere
It's a big run on housing now by investors taking advantage of people that can't make the payments rehabbing the houses and doubling the prices
The rich around the world are buying up the farmland, resources and real estate. This is a commie dem push to own everything. DUTCH FARMERS BEING ROBBED BY POLITICOS.
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered"- highly attributed to Thomas Jefferson
Because congress serves the Blackwater Oligarcy
Its democrat led criminals ! The government is buying houses through groups and giving them away to illegals also!
Unethical to price people out of housing.
A homebuyers offer and bid on a home should come before investers offer no matter the amount. For example house is being sold for 100k and investor offers 105k but a home buyer buying it to live in offers a reasonable 90k the home buyers offer should always come first.
You will own nothing and be miserable. 🖕 Government and black rock
How long before Americans go after Wall Street in a violent way?
This is disgusting. Institutional investors buy homes and keep families from home ownership, but also charge such onerous rents that families can not afford to rent either. Come on, $3000+ for a 2 bedroom apartment is outrageous and should border on criminal. You need to make more than $110,000 just to have a crappy place to live.
BIDEN SOLD AMERICA TO CHINA AND IS WORKING WITH CARTELS!!!
What a crazy system
