Travel Industry Experiencing Chaos in Europe, U.S. Amid Summer Surge

Air travel has been troubled with delays, lost luggage and long lines this summer. Now, some airports in Europe are limiting the amount of passengers that can fly, including London’s Heathrow airport. In the U.S., claims for lost, damaged, delayed or ripped luggage are up 135 percent over the last year. The airline industry is struggling to get back on its feet after massive layoffs and losses during Covid-19 lockdowns. » Subscribe to NBC News: http://nbcnews.to/SubscribeToNBC

  1. Wow. How many people are waiting for them to auction off these "lost bags"?

  2. "Lost luggage" yeah not lost. Irresponsible glutinous airline industry. Where else can you pay a premium, be denied service and abuse of your personal gear.?

  3. This makes me want to only take a carry-on forever more.

  4. Is this Joe Biden's fault too?

  5. They doing everything to convince you, that the election was not rigged. All the information is being held by General Milley, Scandal Pichai, and the leadership of the FBI.

  6. All done on purpose. Chaos. The war on working people. Why Jobama was Installed.

  7. Justice! For those who break their backs for carrying these heavyass luggages they deserve a big raise for handling you people overweight for no reason

  8. It truly is the airlines fault. Selling tickets they can't deliver on. Then have the audacity to give you a voucher instead of refunding your money.
If you're going to travel, have a back up plan to get home. Better yet, take alternative travel…trains, busses or boats.

  9. Capitalism at its finest, the systems working perfectly 🥰 The Poor are stuck in Rental Units and dependent on Grocery Store to feed them. Ahhh, can you smell that? The suckers? Capitalism gotten them trapped good. They work all day then when there paid the bank and bills take all the money 💰 Slavery with extra steps, always dependend on Master

  10. These companies have been around forever and yet they appear to be novices at every turn. Do these people know what they are doing ?

  11. Lets get some trains built!!!

  12. "There is no chaos. It's just special aerial operations." Airline CEO

  13. WE BAILED THEM OUT DURING THE PANDEMIC – THEY PROMISED NOT TO LAYOFF STAFF – THEY LAID OFF STAFF – NOW THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT STAFFING SHORTAGES!!! No More Bailouts Outside of National Security!!!

  14. Never ceases to amaze me that people haven’t seen the patterns of going on vacation in the summer, this is why you don’t go on vacation in the summer.

  15. "this is just a supply chain issues guys same as inflation. We know more than you."

  16. Blaming staffing shortage while over booking flights. Democracy and freedom working to benefit your lives 😂

  17. Maybe because you can make more bein a burger boi at mcd’s than at your local airport being a baggage boi
