Climate scientist at Stanford University and Chair of the Global Carbon Project, Dr. Rob Jackson, breaks down the main takeaways from the U.N. report and explains how countries could get back on track to hit climate targets.

A mega-solution exists right under our feet. Use of a new drilling technique that utilizes micro energy on the tips of earth drills increases the speed of drilling into the earth TEN-FOLD. It melts solid rock. Get down 2 to 12 miles below the earth's surface and you access geothermal energy heat at temperatures exceeding 400 degrees F. Pump water down that immediately turns into steam. Bring it back up to turn separate water into steam that can spin turbines that spin generators of electricity. Use of the steam turns it back into water for reuse. That method keeps any buried compounds in the ground. Therefore they cannot pollute our atmosphere. The energy down there is available 24/7. The cost is initially high but recoverable over a 10 +/- year period. No use of fossil fuels is required. Large Utility companies can afford to gain access to this energy by obtaining initial funds via investments by investors who get paid back over time. Combine use of geothermal energy with use of electric vehicles and we will significantly reduce CO2 emissions that pollute our atmosphere. Use of geothermal energy is already being used in Iceland. Look it up.

The world is the Titanic. We hit an iceberg a while back and right now the compartments are filling with water. It's already happened. There's nothing we can do to change things at this point. We do have some life rafts that can keep people alive for a while until a ship arrives to take them to the new world but we only have enough rafts to save about half the people. Unfortunately that means being pragmatic and pushing away the desperate people who try to cling to our raft and letting them die in the ocean. If we don't do that they will overwhelm the rafts and the rafts will sink and everyone will die.

To obtain financial freedom, one must either be a business owner, an investor or both, generating passive income, particularly on a monthly basis.
You'd almost think that, in general, people really don't do anything except virtue signal about climate change. I'm glad that I was sitting down when I heard this extraordinary "news". And here I thought that signing a piece of paper in Paris (and someplace else next time) would solve the problem once and for all.
So instead of using fossil fuels, we're going to commit to electric vehicles, even after studies have proven that lithium batteries cause cancer, not to mention the health effects of mining lithium that we're just beginning to see in Utah, genius! Arsenic for dinner anyone?
