Not a Republican, no longer a Dem. I am 63, male from/in deep south. And my politics are closely aligned with numerous Northern US politicians. In other words, I view myself as progressive. What does that mean? Guys, stay away from uteruses or both teen girls and women. The anti trans hatred doesn’t give you permission to know “not one dang MFn thing about ministration of underage high school girls or younger.” Ya’ll need to be perp walked governor. And girls and women who find themselves carrying a baby? Not your concern! And the history of Americans whose skin color is darker than yours? Everyone needs to know their collective history – black, brown, white, and definitely people whose skin color you call red. People of all skin colors have preyed on people with different skin colors, but that’s history and ya’ll don’t believe you can learn anything from history. So, you all want to erase it, forget about it. WAKE UP! Get over it – history – it happened. How do you know someone is a fake asp (type of snake) Christian (FAC) ?Well, Jesus preached. He taught us how to act between him and us, between him and his dad, and how to act and treat other people. Don’t ask what would Jesus do cuz you ain’t there yet. Instead, ask would Jesus do this (as in illegally abducting people and sending them to Massachusetts in the middle of winter wearing summer clothes.). Not one Christian would do that, FACs. FACs spread hatred and never emphasize with anyone not them.
As a nation, it seems like evil lurks in the hearts of many churches and they jettisoned God and Bible for money, fame, and sexual gratification … in other words, no longer Christian. I’ve encountered so many devout Christians, and daily, I thank God for putting them in my life, but those are the real Christians. I’m not sure any of them ever preach on TV anymore. Growing up, I saw many Christians carrying the word of God and trying to live their lives according to scripture. Today though, Im not sure how many live in my state. I have met a few though. Even here in Florida, a state with far to many FACs, there are small conclaves of real Christians. The problem is you only hear and see the FACs because the Devil makes sure those people get elected and famous.
I was a young kid in a small town when Hurricane Camille destroyed the lives of people living on the gulf coast. As a town, we came together twice a week to help everyone affected by Camille. A month or so later, we went down to once a week care packages. Today, divisive religious beliefs means most towns and cities are out for themselves and never reach out to help others. Just one price our nation pays for electing FACs and their destruction of Biblical lessons.

In this context what does "uneasy" mean? The Presidential election is a binary choice (you can, of course, not vote at all). If trump is the Republican nominee then Biden is the perfect Democrat nominee because he's already beaten him. If DeSantis, et al, veer too much towards the trump, MAGA bullsh*t and start to look like trump in miniature, then again, I think, Biden is the perfect Democrat nominee for the same reason. Only if the Republican's choose a more moderate nominee will Biden start to look like a wrong choice.
