As Asian American，I am so proud of President Yoon address to congress，remarkable moment for US and South Korea
Hey Guys, you shall look into why 73% of SKoreans are not supporting the president Yoon who is well known as ignorance and incompetence leader in our country. Yes, the US and ROK alliance is the most valuable thing for all South Koreans. But we cannot maintain strong alliance thru the politician like Yoon who put his interest over his country. Invested $100 billions to the US while he got 3 billions. Not like Japan and German, he didnt do anything to save Korean companies over inflation reduction act of 2022. What do you think Yoon’s pro america policy will affect in Korean public. SKorea’s trade with china went down 33% in 2022 while the US / China trade hit the record. We lost many business and job due to his anti china policy, then he is sending more jobs and business to the US.
Yoon’s approval rate was 27% before his US visit and the rate is expecting to go down below 20% with all disappointments that SKoreans feel now
In the next election, SKoreans will give their vote for someone like French president who knows how to look up the interest of their own nation. In a long term prospect, Yoon made our US/ROK alliance get more weaker.
Jo Biden did good job for america by taking advantage of foolish leader from South Korea who has no experience in domestic/international politics.

President Yoon Suk-yeol's speech is one of the most excellent speeches that I 've ever seen. Also, he will be recorded as greatest leader who achieves reform for democratic society!
Seungman Rhee would be glad to see this in wherever he rests.
This is clear evidence how a simple speech can swing voters who do not know a candidate well. Fact: Yoon won the presidential election only at a razor-thin margin of 0.8%, and his current approval rating in South Korea is only about 30%.

When you mentioned the Battle of Changjin Lake and the American troops escaped from it, I don’t know whether you are praising the American military or satirizing them.
We are just about to rebuild our relationship which was broken last five years by the former president who was extremely skewed to China which was not supported by any single Korean citizens. Now we are on the right direction. So glad to see it. God bless our alliance.
