Texas judge's ruling applied to the 2000 FDA approval. FDA could simply issue a 2023 reapproval of the drug, based on tons of existing safety and effectiveness data from the past 23 years. The 2000 FDA approval was weak, in that they took some shortcuts. It's fair for a court to intervene, if it's believed that the FDA didn't follow its own rules. That's a key role of the courts, to judge whether rules and laws are being followed. But If the FDA quickly issues a complete new approval based on 23 years of safety and effectiveness data, following all of their current rules, then the case against the 2000 approval would be rendered useless.
The reversal of Roe VS Wade will NOT go well for Republicans in the long run.

What really gets me is they are banning one of the medications In a 2 medication regime that is manly used for the pain management part of the medication abortion they aren't going after the other medication at all.
And mithopistone is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and other pain conditions as well and since the Dobbs decision people with those pain conditions have been having problems getting their medications as well.
Keep churches out of women’s bodies.
While you’re at it keep priests out of boys bodies.
